The project of the feature film “Enter the Void” took part in the Pitching of the Debutants 2020 in Kaliningrad

On December 9-10, 2020, the Pitching of the Debutants 2020 took place in Kaliningrad.  The author of the idea of the horror “Enter the Void” Andrei Verteletsky presented his new project.

The series “Enter the Void” is dedicated to the theme of tragic events related to the 1986 Chernobyl disaster, which has been repeatedly touched upon in many films.  The echoes of those terrible events are heard even nowadays. However, if only the lazy does not know about the fate of the city of Pripyat, then the history of the “Russian Chernobyl” which is located on the territory of the Bryansk region has been undeservedly forgotten and has never sounded in the modern cinema.

The project “Enter the Void” can fill this gap and tell viewers the history of those Russian territories, where, more than 30 years after the known events, there are “dead” villages.  Andrei Vertelitsky sets the goal of combining the artistic part and the real problems of the contaminated region, in which, after several decades, a number of socio-economic difficulties and phenomena have formed.
